Sorting data values, numbers or text in Excel 2013 is done in the following order:

On the Data toolbar in the group commands 'Sort&Filter' are commands for sorting. Automatic sorting from A - Z and reverse the order from Z - A (ascending-descending) can be done by clicking on the command buttons i.e. showing letters with an arrow.
Also, on the Home toolbar located commands for sorting in the group Editing commands.
A dialog window 'Sort' also you can run a combination of keys on the keyboard that is a shortcut ALT+ASS (ALT+HSU)
Multiple sorting in Excel 2013
In the dialog window to sort by multiple columns, i.e. more types of data, we can do the following: On the Data toolbar, click on the Sort command opens a dialog window 'Sort' on the which we can add more levels for sorting.
In the picture below you notice that I did sort by two criteria. So sorting is done by the column 'B', followed by the column 'D'.
