How to Delete a Worksheet in Excel.
Delete a worksheet in Excel 2013 can be done in several ways. (Important! If you open a previously saved workbook and delete the worksheet and then save the workbook, you can not go back worksheet, saving is only to close the workbook without saving).
The worksheet can be deleted using Alt+HDS. Please select the worksheet that you want to delete (click on the name of the worksheet to be active), and then press the key combination Atl+H+D+S on your keyboard.
You can remove or delete a worksheet from a workbook in Excel 2013 via the command Delete Sheet on the Home toolbartoolbar . (see picture below).
Another way to Delete a Worksheet in Excel 2013 is via a shortcut menu (the pop-up menu) that opens when you right-click on the name of the worksheet. Click on the tab name of the worksheet right-click mouse and then on the shortcut menu click the Delete command. (see picture below).
Move or copy a worksheet in Excel 2013
Worksheet in a workbook, we can move or copy.
If you want to move a worksheet within the same workbook, it is necessary to move the option of drag-and-drop. Click on the name of the worksheet (worksheet tab) the left mouse button and hold it and drag the worksheet to the desired location where you want to move. Note that the display showed a mouse icon list. (see picture below)
If you want to copy a worksheet within the same workbook, then do the following: Press CTRL key and hold it, then click on the name of the worksheet and drag it to where you want the copied worksheet. You notice in the picture below that appeared on the small plus sign icon to copy the list. (see figure below). After copying the worksheet you notice that the name of the worksheet appeared sequence number in the brackets.
If you want to copy or move a worksheet from one Excel workbook to another workbook, do the following: Right-click on the name of the worksheet (worksheet tab) and then the shortcut menu choose the Move or Copy command.
Opens a new dialog box Move or Copy to which the you notice field To book: and a drop down list which is a list of open workbooks. When you select a specific workbook in the list contains the names of all the worksheets in the field of Before sheet: Select the worksheet that you want to set up a front moved or copied worksheet. If you want the worksheet to move or copy to the end then select the option Move to end.
Also you notice the Create a copy Worksheet. If this option off will then move the Excel worksheet, and if you turn this option (check the check box), then copy the Excel Worksheet.
